NextSeed joined forces with Republic November 2020 made public with their announcement. Republic acquired the small business investment platform for an undisclosed amount. NextSeed co-founder and CEO Youngro Lee will become Chief Operating Officer of Republic, but operate and remain CEO of NextSeed Securities independently for the foreseeable future. Abe Chu was the CMO & Co-founder and Bob Dunton was the CTO & Co-founder.
