Investing Portal Details
Fundanna no longer operates and its parent has been involved in SEC litigation. We are aware of several investors reaching out to us about challenges with their investments and this legal action. The first case we are aware of involves 420 Real Estate who raised funds with this platform team.
Owned by TruCrowd this platform operated as a subsidiary pulling the listings from Trucrowd that are focused on Cannabis, weed, marijuana, CBD, etc.
The Portal website appears to be down. Fundanna and it's parent appear to have been charged by the SEC via an article by Stanford Law and the SEC. We were made aware of this through outreach from an investor looking for detail on their investment through the platform.
Fundanna was the first Reg CF portal dedicated exclusively to the cannabis businesses in the United States. The team focused on projects that use cannabis to fight diseases, be used in textile, paper, fuel, cosmetics and the food industry. They state that they understand the top challenges of the industry, as banks and lenders have limitations when considering a loan to “sin” based businesses. Fundanna’s goal was to support the industry’s growth by giving investors access to early stage cannabis investments and entrepreneurs the opportunity to raise money through Regulation Crowdfunding.
