Looking to invest in promising startups or raise money for your venture?

We have compiled a list of the platforms offering access to invest in high growth startup companies and have rated them using a few factors below. The term "Equity Crowdfunding" grew in popularity during the boom of crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter ($3.8 Bil raised as of Aug 2018) and Indiegogo ($1.5 Bil). in 2017 the overall crowdfunding industry raised $34 billion, as reported by Fundly, of which $2.5 billion was raised through equity portals. While crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter offer non-monetary rewards for investing in startups, equity crowdfunding enables you to get a slice of the equity of the company and gain from its long-term growth. Following the "crowd" for a reward of early access to a product or promo material may provide but with investing with the "crowd" is not synonymous with profit.

Our rank factors investing returns, fees, amount of money raised, number of offerings, and input from users. We will continue to update the ranking.

Glen - Thanks for the information and post. I have since removed the reference to the listing of Top Platforms that he provided and listed his own as #1.
